Wilson's Lawn Care

About Wilson's Lawn Care

On the first frost mornings the river throws a white sheet of fog over Portsmouth, and it hangs there until the sun climbs high enough over the hills to burn it off the grass. Wilson's Lawn Care works right behind that lift, waiting for the blades to dry before taking the season's closing cuts. Fall here is drawn out and beautiful, the ridges holding color into November while the lawns quietly ask for one more pass and a good clearing of leaves. A yard put to bed properly — cut even, edged, raked clean — looks composed all winter and wakes up faster in spring. That last tidy pass of the year is the one worth doing slowly.
