About Lawn Barber

An edge is where a yard either looks finished or does not, and along the old sidewalk squares off Gallia Street the difference is visible from half a block away. Lawn Barber takes that seriously — mowed even, trimmed close, the concrete line cut back until the walk regains its full width. Come winter the same attention goes to snow, with drives opened, walks cleared, and the icy spots treated before the morning traffic finds them. Portsmouth sits low between the hills, so it collects both the summer growth and the cold river damp in equal measure. Handling both ends of that year, well, is the job.
