About Penn-Ohio Outdoor Services

Poland's older streets follow Yellow Creek down through its ravine, and snow that stacks up in that hollow takes its time going anywhere. Penn-Ohio Outdoor Services clears it — plowing drives and lots, breaking open the wall the street plow leaves at the end, shoveling steps and walks, and salting the shaded grades where ice forms. Storms this far east in Ohio arrive in bands, one behind another, so on the long nights the route runs more than once. A drive cut wide and square by six in the morning is what makes an ordinary winter day possible. That is the entire job, and it is worth doing exactly.
