BLACKBIRD LAWN CARE

About BLACKBIRD LAWN CARE

Out at Battelle Darby Creek the restored prairie holds red-winged blackbirds all summer, calling from the big bluestem in that rusty-hinge voice that means Ohio in July. BLACKBIRD LAWN CARE works the tamer grass — the yards, the roadside frontage, the long approaches of Pleasant Township — mowing, trimming and edging on a rhythm the season sets. Clean lines, square corners, clippings swept off the walk: small things, and they are exactly what makes a place feel cared for. Spring brings the first cut once the mud dries; October brings the leaf haul and the last pass before the grass goes dormant. Between them stretches a whole green season of steady, unhurried work.
