About Creative Grounds Group

Pleasant Hill sits where the Stillwater River works its slow bends through Miami County farm ground, and the village keeps its yards the way it keeps its fields — orderly, green, worth looking at. Creative Grounds Group mows, trims and edges those lawns from the first flush of April growth to the last leaf-strewn cleanup in November. Morning here smells of cut grass and river damp, and a mower's straight pass down a side street is its own small announcement that summer is underway. The work is unglamorous and exact: a clean line along the walk, no clippings left on the drive, a lawn that reads as cared for from the road. Out toward Covington and West Milton the same attention travels the county lanes.
