The Miami Valley is old glacier country — flat, generous, dark-soiled — and on an October morning the frost lies white across every Piqua lawn until about nine, when the sun takes it back. MV Lawns works this valley right through that stretch: mowing while the grass still climbs, trimming and edging, and hauling off the leaves once the maples let go. Autumn here is short and sudden, the whole town going amber inside two weeks. Getting a yard cleared before the rains mat everything down is half the battle of the year. Do it, and the lawn comes back the following April glad of it.
