About Reno's Lawn Services

Piketon lies in the bottom of the Scioto valley, hills standing up on both sides and river ground in between that will grow anything you put in it — grass most of all. Reno's Lawn Services keeps pace with that growth from April on, cutting weekly through the humid Pike County summer and trimming around porches, posts and the edges of gravel drives. Down here the heat settles into the valley and stays, so the mowing gets done early while the shade still reaches across the yards along the river road. Autumn arrives as a slow gold coming down off the ridges, and then the leaves follow it and the cleanups begin. A cut lawn with a sharp edge, framed by those hills, is a small pleasure that never wears out.
