About Fieldstone Landscape Services LLC

Farmers in Peru township have been picking stone out of these fields for as long as there have been fields — the glaciers left it, and it still turns up along every fencerow in Huron County. Fieldstone Landscape Services works the yards that sit among them, mowing on a weekly turn, cutting a clean edge where the grass meets the drive, trimming close around post and stone and step. Summers up here run green and humid, the corn goes tall on all sides, and a well-kept lawn stands out sharply against that scale. When the leaves finally fall the cleanups begin, and they carry on until the last of it is off the grass and out of the beds. Simple, sturdy work for simple, sturdy country.
