About Seals Outdoor Services

Perrysville sits at the edge of the Mohican hills, where the roads bend with the Clear Fork valley and the ridges above the water catch snow the flat country never sees. Seals Outdoor Services runs those roads in the dark — plowing steep gravel drives, opening the turnarounds, clearing walks down to the step so nobody starts the day sliding. Hill-country snow drifts wherever the wind finds a gap in the trees, and it takes a second trip back to keep a lane truly open. Salt and grit go on the grades and the shady bends, the places that stay slick long after the sun is up over the ridge. By morning the hollows are still white and the driveways are not, and that is the entire point of the night.
