Eckel Lawn & Snow

About Eckel Lawn & Snow

Freezing drizzle is the local specialty — not a storm exactly, just a slow glaze that turns every driveway apron in town into a rink between midnight and six. Eckel Lawn & Snow answers that with plowing, hand work along steps and walkways, and salt spread where slope and shade conspire against a person's footing. Out along Eckel Junction Road the wind lifts whatever fell in the fields and lays it back across the pavement, so second passes belong to the plan rather than the exception. The satisfying part is a drive scraped down to dark asphalt while the yard beside it stays smooth and untouched. Perrysburg wakes up, and the way out is already open.
