About 419 Landscape

South of the last cul-de-sac, Wood County flattens into a plain so level that the horizon does the work a hill would do elsewhere, and every lawn in it answers to that wide sky. 419 Landscape works in that open light — weekly mowing, string-trimmed fence lines, edges cut back off the walks, and cleanups when spring and fall each leave their mess behind. There is a plain pleasure in watching a shaggy yard turn crisp over a single afternoon, the mowing lines still readable from the street at supper time. The area code on the sign is the whole point: this is home ground, from the older blocks near downtown out to the newer drives along Route 25. Neighbors notice the tidy ones, and that is reward enough.
