About Carte Lawn Care & Landscaping, LLC

The old National Road still runs the ridge above Pease township, and the yards along it were cut into the hillside a long time ago — terraces, stone steps, narrow strips of lawn holding on at an angle. Carte Lawn Care & Landscaping keeps those tiers even, mowing the flats, trimming the banks by hand where a machine has no business going, and edging the walks until the lines look drawn. Belmont County summers come humid and heavy, and the grass answers by growing fast; a week here is a real week. There is satisfaction in finishing a terraced lot and seeing every level match the one above it. In fall the same yards get raked back down to tidy ground before winter settles on the ridge.
