Buckeye Blade

About Buckeye Blade

In Palmer the day starts wide open — light crosses the fields long before it reaches the treeline, and the dew hangs on until the first mower goes through it. Buckeye Blade works those Palmer yards through the growing months, mowing, trimming the fence lines, cutting in the edges, and brushing the clippings off the front walk before pulling out. The pleasure of it is in the pass: one straight line held all the way from the drive to the mailbox post, then another beside it. Summer here is generous and quick, with grass answering every warm rain, so the visits keep their rhythm week to week. By evening a finished yard has the mown smell on it and a shape it will hold until the next visit.
