About Martinez Outdoors LLC
At four in the morning the road climbing south out of Painesville heads straight into the snowbelt, and headlights stop being much use about halfway up. Martinez Outdoors LLC works that hour — plowing driveways, opening lots, clearing walks and steps, salting the ice that forms quietly after the storm is done showing off. Snow here doesn't so much fall as arrive in bands: an inch an hour for six hours over two townships and nothing at all three miles west. The measure of a good night is a whole street of driveways open by the time the coffee makers click on. Painesville, Painesville Township, Concord, Kirtland and Mentor.
