Yard Works

About Yard Works

A yard is not decoration. It is where the dog goes out, where the folding table comes out in June, where somebody eventually learns to ride a bike. Yard Works keeps that ground usable around Oliver — regular mowing, edging, trimming, mulch and bed tidying, and the seasonal cleanups that make the rest possible. The measure of the work is not fussy: an even cut, a clear border, no clippings tracked up the walk, nothing in the way of whatever anyone wants to do out there on Saturday. Grass grows back and the truck comes back, and that steady exchange is most of what keeping a lawn actually is.
