About Woody's Lawn Care LLC, Firewood & Stone

Oak Hill sits up in the hardwood ridges of Jackson County, where the roads bend because the hills insisted and Welsh settlers once put stone walls and iron furnaces into these hollows. Woody's Lawn Care LLC, Firewood & Stone mows yards that tilt — the kind you learn by walking before you ever start an engine. Morning fog pools in the hollows and burns off by nine, and the grass up on a ridge dries hours before the bottom does. The reward is a hillside lawn cut evenly top to bottom, the edges held clean along a gravel drive, no scalped high spots anywhere. In October the oaks turn the whole horizon rust and gold, and the leaves get cleared off before winter presses them into the turf.
