About Swoger Outdoors

Open ground is what makes an Ohio winter interesting: the fields lie flat to the wind, and a night of blowing snow will pack a lane shut long after the sky has cleared. Swoger Outdoors watches for that second act, the drift that rebuilds itself across an open drive overnight, the glaze that follows a freezing drizzle onto shaded pavement. Plowing, hand work on the steps and walks, and salt where the ice sets up hardest make up the whole of the job, repeated storm after storm until the thaw. Nobody ever sees the good version of this work; they see an empty driveway and a black patch of asphalt and never think about it again. That is precisely the result being aimed at around Norwich township, one cold morning at a time.
