About S&S Services LLC

At three in the morning a Norwich township road is nothing but yard lights, falling white, and the long throw of a plow's headlamps. S&S Services LLC works those hours, when clipper snow slides down out of the northwest and lays a fresh page over every gravel lane and cul-de-sac. Plowing, shoveled walks and salted ice come first at the drives people leave from earliest, the ones who pull out before the school buses run. There is a plain satisfaction in a driveway squared off to its edges, the apron cut clean where it meets the road, a path to the mailbox wide enough for two boots. By the time the sky turns that pale pewter Ohio keeps all winter, the work is already behind them and the day can simply start.
