About Simple Green Lawn & Services
Fog settles into the creek bottoms around Norwich township on August mornings and burns off by nine, and the mowers are running well before that. Simple Green Lawn & Services keeps the ordinary rounds, cutting and trimming and edging, hauling off the clippings and the sticks the wind brought down, so a yard stays easy to walk out into. Late summer tests a lawn here; the ground goes hard, the color fades toward tan, and the way through it is patient mowing at the right height rather than cutting it to the dirt. When rain finally returns in September those yards come back green first and hold the color into October. It is unhurried work, and it suits a place where the horizon is hedgerow and field and the evenings go gold a long while before dark.
