March in the hills toward Bath and Hudson is a thaw and a mess, frost heaving out of the beds, last year's leaves matted into the corners, the lawn waking up unevenly. T2 Design starts the Akron-area season right there, cleaning out, cutting bed lines back to a real curve, and mowing once the ground firms enough to carry a machine. Through summer it settles into rhythm, mow and trim and edge and blow off, and the shapes hold all season because they were drawn properly in spring. Winter hands the same properties to the plow, drives and walks opened after each storm passes. A yard is a drawing you have to keep redrawing.
