Norton sits up on the high shoulder of Summit County, where the glacial hills roll long and the wind gets a clean run at them. Summit Landscape works the February stretch that tests everybody — thaw by afternoon, hard freeze by dark, a driveway that was wet at four turning to glass by seven. Plowing, lot clearing, walkway shoveling and salting all get timed around that, because the second pass is often the one that counts.
