Naragon Irrigation Co

About Naragon Irrigation Co

By mid-November the low fields off Hametown Road go silver at sunrise and hold it until noon; the season has turned, and the ground is something you drive on now. Naragon Irrigation Co works Norton straight through it, plowing drives and lots, shoveling walkways, and treating the spots that freeze before anywhere else — the north side of a house, the foot of a sloped driveway, the apron by the mailbox. Snow gets pushed where it belongs, not into a bank that will melt back across the pavement at dusk and set up hard again by nine. Getting that right, storm after storm, without anyone having to ask, is its own kind of pride. Norton and its neighbors in Wadsworth, Clinton and New Franklin are all on the list.
