Rice's Tree Service & Landscaping

About Rice's Tree Service & Landscaping

There is a particular morning here after a wet snow, when the maples along the older streets stand bent and white and the whole town looks upholstered. Rice's Tree Service & Landscaping is out under them while it is still happening, plowing driveways open, clearing walks and steps, spreading salt across the entrances before anyone tries them in dress shoes. Snow that comes off Lake Erie is the heavy kind, and if it sits until midday sun softens it, it sets like mortar by dark. Getting there first is most of the job and all of the difference. A North Royalton driveway cleared while the branches are still loaded is a good thing to look back at from the road.
