A & M Trucking & Snowplowing

About A & M Trucking & Snowplowing

There is an hour in a North Royalton winter that almost nobody sees: three in the morning, Royalton Road running empty under orange light, the plows already out. A & M Trucking & Snowplowing works that hour. This town sits high on the plateau south of Cleveland, so it collects a little extra off every band that swings in from the lake, and the drifts stack against these long driveways in a way they never do down in the flats. Plowing, salting, and hauling the banks away when there is nowhere left to push them — the work gets finished before the first coffee is poured. The reward is a black driveway at sunrise with the snow squared off neat along its shoulders.
