About American Earth Companies

The ground here is heavy lake-plain clay, and when a Lorain County cold snap sets in it goes iron-hard overnight and holds that cold for weeks. American Earth Companies works with the fact rather than against it — reading which lots glaze first, which north-facing walk stays slick long after the sun is up, where a pushed pile should sit so the thaw drains away instead of back across the pavement. Plowing, shoveling, salting: a short list carried out in the dark, in the wind, in whatever the sky decides to send. The result is plain and worth having — a lot open on time, a driveway a car can climb, a walk nobody has to think about. Snow removal for North Ridgeville and the towns that ring it.
