Abe's Land Care

About Abe's Land Care

North Ridgeville is built on old beach ridges — long low sand rises left behind when a colder, bigger Lake Erie stood where the fields are now. Abe's Land Care works along that gentle grain of the land, mowing and edging the lawns that run with it in summer, and clearing the same driveways when the year turns cold. There is a particular satisfaction in the first pass of the season: grass laid down in even lines, the cut along the walk clean enough to run a finger down. In January the payoff is quieter — an apron opened at five in the morning, salt down, the porch light the only witness. Snow removal and lawn care in one pair of hands, for a town that asks for both.
