About Foltz's Construction Services LLC

South and east of Poland township the road climbs into low hills that run on toward the Pennsylvania line, and in winter those grades are where a driveway decides whether anyone is leaving the house. Foltz's Construction Services LLC works that hour before dawn — headlights, a lit plume of snow off the blade, the long backing pass that turns a buried drive into two clean lanes and a wide apron at the road. Storms here arrive gray and stay gray, dropping steadily overnight, so the job is measured in what people find at six in the morning rather than what fell at two. Plowing, pushing back the banks so the next storm has somewhere to go, cutting a path to the mailbox and the steps, breaking up the glaze the plow truck leaves at the apron. By first light the truck is a set of tracks going up the hill, and the driveway is simply open.
