City Mowing

About City Mowing

North Canton wakes early, and in January it wakes to a plow already working the block. City Mowing handles the snow side of things here — clearing drives and lots, shoveling sidewalks and shopfront entries along the brick stretch of Main Street, salting the walk-up steps where the morning's first customers will put their feet. Stark County storms come in grainy and wind-driven, filling a cleared apron back in within the hour if nobody is watching it. So the job is watching it: a second pass, then a third, until the pavement holds. There is a plain pride in a downtown that opens on time because somebody was out at four with a shovel and a spreader.
