About Capital City Services

Three in the morning along the river road, the water running black alongside and the snow coming in level — that is the hour southern Ohio decides who gets to work on time. Capital City Services plows Nile Township through it: driveways opened, lots cleared and stacked out of the way, walks shoveled down to pavement, salt laid on the grades where valley ice sets up hard and early. The reward is simple and complete, headlights swinging onto a drive that is already open before the coffee has even finished. Scioto County winters come on fast off the water and let go slowly, and the routes get run either way.
