About Prestons Lawn Care LLC

The old railbed that leaves Newark toward Hanover runs flat and true for miles, the kind of line a person can keep in their eye. Prestons Lawn Care LLC likes that sort of straightness: mowing laid in even passes, trimming along fences and posts, edges recut so a driveway keeps the shape it was poured with. In January, when a fast system comes through and drops three inches by four in the morning, the plow is out on those same routes, pushing drives open and the front walk clear so the day can start on time. By April it all turns over — the first cut of the year on grass that has been waiting since November, and the smell that comes with it. One outfit, both ends of the calendar.
