Pierce Lawn Service

About Pierce Lawn Service

From the top of Horns Hill the whole of Newark lies out below — the grid of streets, the river bend, and in October the maples going up like struck matches. Pierce Lawn Service works down in that grid, yard by yard, mowing and trimming through the green months and clearing leaves once the hills start to turn. Licking County autumns are generous with leaf fall and stingy with dry days, so opening a lawn back up before the wet mats it down takes some timing. Edging keeps walks and drives their own full width instead of surrendering an inch a year to the sod. Small things, repeated on time — that is how a place stays looking looked-after.
