About Local Roots Property Service

The last ice sheet stopped near here, and you can still feel it in the ground around Newark — smooth till on one side of the county, stubborn ridges on the other, heavy clay under most yards in between. Local Roots Property Service works with whatever that soil hands over: mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, mulch and cleanups in spring and fall, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the ground locks up. Grass here needs a regular hand and some respect for how slowly it drains after a storm. Snow wants the opposite — speed, and a very early start. Same properties, same care, two entirely different clocks.
