About Hilltop Landscapes

North of Newark the road climbs toward Utica, and the farms up on that high ground catch the weather first — you can watch a squall cross the open fields for ten minutes before it ever reaches you. Hilltop Landscapes answers it with a plow: driveways and lots pushed open, walks shoveled and blown, salt down on the shaded stretches that never fully let go. Ridge wind will refill a lane behind you, so the route simply gets run again. There is a particular hush up there after a storm passes, before anything has driven through it. Then the first tire tracks appear and the day gets on with itself.
