About dewitt services

September mornings in Newark start with dew on everything — the old factory brick down by the canal basin, the parked cars, and every lawn between here and Heath. dewitt services waits out that wet, then takes the tight downtown lots and the wider yards past the bypass alike: mowing at a single height, trimming along fences and alley walls, edging the walks back out to their full width. Early fall is the last strong flush of growth in Licking County, when turf greens up again after August and wants a steady hand for a few more weeks. Then the leaves start, and the cleanups begin, and the yards get put to bed one street at a time. It is ordinary work, done carefully, on the blocks it belongs to.
