About Claggett Landscape

Southeast of Newark the ridges are seamed with flint, and people were climbing that hill for good stone long before anyone here thought to plant a lawn. Claggett Landscape works the softer ground below it: mowing on a set rotation, edging beds and walkways, trimming the places a mower cannot reach, laying mulch so the beds hold their color into summer. May in Licking County is wet clay and sudden growth, and turf rewards anyone willing to stay after it. By evening a freshly cut yard smells green for a solid hour. That smell, and a hard line where grass meets pavement, is most of the job.
