Antritt's Lawn Sensations

About Antritt's Lawn Sensations

Drive Route 13 south of Newark and the arboretum's clipped hedge spells out its own name in living letters, large enough to read from a passing plane — a standing argument for what patience and a sharp blade can do to green things. Antritt's Lawn Sensations works at ground level with the same intent: mowing, edging, trimming and clearing the cuttings so a yard reads clean from the curb. July evenings in this valley go gold and heavy, and a lawn cut late in the day holds its stripes right up until dark. When the season turns and the first plowable inch falls, the work shifts to driveways, walkways and salt at the steps. Same property, tended twice over, with a different set of tools.
