The Lawn Ranger

About The Lawn Ranger

Late June, seven in the evening: the light goes long and gold across the Mahoning County fields, the mower is still warm, and one more yard gets finished before dark. The Lawn Ranger runs that kind of route through New Springfield and out along the farm roads toward the Pennsylvania line, mowing, string trimming, edging, and handling the cleanups that bracket the year at both ends. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass, when the stripes line up, the walk gets blown clear, and the whole yard settles into itself. Nothing fancy about the operation — just grass cut right, week after week, from the first flush of April through the final leaf off the maple. That steadiness is the service.
