Knockout Tree Service

About Knockout Tree Service

New London sits high and flat where the Vermilion River gets its start, and past the last streetlight the fields run straight to the horizon with only a windbreak to interrupt them. Knockout Tree Service works those windbreaks and the shade trees in town both — pruning young maples along Main, trimming limbs off farm buildings, removing the hollow silver maple standing between a barn and the weather. On open ground like this the wind gets a long run at a tree, and it finds every weak crotch. Storm damage cleanup after a summer line-storm means saws going at first light, wood hauled off, and the lane open for the grain truck. Nothing fancy about it: a yard put right, and a tree left in better shape than it was found in.
