Kamenar Lawn Service

About Kamenar Lawn Service

Down in Clinton the Towpath Trail runs beside the old canal line, and the lawns along there have been mowed by somebody every summer for longer than anyone can account for. Kamenar Lawn Service takes its turn at it: mowing, trimming, edging, cleanups when the buds drop in spring and again when the leaves do. Come winter the same trucks go out with plow and salt, opening driveways and walks while the village is still dark. It is plain work with a plain measure — is the grass even, is the pavement clear. Meeting that measure week after week is the entire ambition.
