About GroundSystems Dayton Branch

Three in the morning in Moraine, and the big lots along the Great Miami are one unbroken field of white with the light poles standing in it like fence posts. GroundSystems Dayton Branch works that window — plowing lots and drive aisles, stacking the piles where they won't block sightlines, clearing walks and entries and laying salt ahead of the refreeze that always follows a valley thaw. Everything has to be finished before first shift, because in a river town built around work, the pavement is part of the operation. When headlights start turning in at six onto clean, dry blacktop, the night's job is done and nobody has to think about it. That invisibility is the point.
