About Clark Landscaping

West of the village the land opens into flat fields, and in January the wind crosses them with nothing to slow it, laying snow over the road in long white fingers. Clark Landscaping plows and clears through those nights, opening driveways and lots so the first trip out at daybreak is a straight shot to pavement, and salting the slick places where meltwater refreezes. Come April the same routes turn green and the machines change over to mowing, trimming and edging, the growing season running hard from the first warm week to the last mild one. There is a particular pride in a drive that is black and open while the field beside it is still drifting. Grounds work for Waterville township all the way around the year, in snow and in grass.
