About ScooPet

A Mentor backyard is a small country of its own: fenced on three sides, one maple doing most of the shade, a path worn along the gate by somebody's dog. ScooPet looks after that ground through the warm months, cutting the grass out to the fence line, hand-trimming the corners a mower can never square, keeping clippings off the patio stones. Yards on this side of the lake let go of winter all at once in April, soft and green and ready before the front lawns are. Then the year turns and the same yards need the back steps and the side walk opened, plowed and salted so the last trip out at night is easy footing. Small spaces, tended closely, are what make a house feel finished.
