About M&A Scapes
Mentor-on-the-Lake takes its weather straight off Lake Erie, which keeps the air cool into June and the evenings bright well past supper. M&A Scapes mows in that lake light — bluff-side yards with water showing through the trees, tidy streets set back from the shore, sandy soil that drains fast once a squall blows past. Turf this close to open water lives with wind, so it gets cut at a height that keeps it thick rather than scalped. Trimming along walks, drives and fence lines gives a yard its outline, and a quick sweep leaves the sidewalk bare. On a clear evening, a finished lawn with the lake behind it is a good place to call it a day.
