The Keenan Company

About The Keenan Company

Squalls cross Mayfield Heights in waves — half an hour of solid white, then a sky that pretends nothing happened. The Keenan Company builds the night around them, plowing commercial lots and drives, opening entrances and fire lanes, salting aprons where meltwater will freeze back solid by four. Up on this plateau east of the city the wind carries a mean streak, and a lot cleared at eleven can want a second pass by two. So there is a second pass. When the doors open in the morning, the pavement is dark and dry and the storm has become somebody else's story.
