About Weeks and Sons ETC
At four in the morning the sky over northern Stark County turns that low pewter color that means lake air has pushed this far south. Weeks and Sons ETC is already moving by then, headlights and a single orange beacon crawling the farm roads and the long driveways out past Sippo Valley, blade down. Plowing, clearing walks, salting the slick patch by the door — all of it done so the person stepping out at six finds pavement instead of a drift. Massillon takes its snow in bursts, an inch an hour and then nothing for a week, and the truck stays loaded either way. Having a lot open before the town is awake is its own kind of pride.
