TERRAGREEN

About TERRAGREEN

June afternoons in Stark County have a habit of stacking thunderheads over the fields and giving you about an hour's notice. TERRAGREEN mows into that hour — cutting, trimming, edging and clearing the cuttings before the first fat drops hit the driveway. Grass around Massillon grows on storm water, which means the calendar is really written by the sky, and the trick is staying one step in front of it. There's a particular pleasure in loading the trailer just as the rain starts on a yard that is already done. Then the sun swings back out, and by Thursday everything is greener and an inch taller.
