About Macke Outdoor Services

The Little Miami slides north to south through Massie township, and the bottoms along it grow grass with real enthusiasm once May warms up. Macke Outdoor Services mows that ground — yards backing onto the river woods, open lots out toward the Warren County farm fields, the tight corners around porches and posts. Trimming and edging are where a lawn stops looking mowed and starts looking finished, so the line along a walk gets cut as deliberately as the middle. Clippings come off the drive before the truck moves on, because a green smear on concrete undoes the whole afternoon. It is plain outdoor work in a valley that rewards keeping up with it.
