The Mow Bros

About The Mow Bros

Snow finds Mason at odd hours — a squall at midnight, a slick glaze by four, the whole town holding its breath until the roads get scraped. The Mow Bros run the winter side of things: plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, and spreading salt where a Warren County morning has left everything hard and shining. There is a strange good feeling in a truck rolling through empty streets while the rest of the neighborhood sleeps in. Every drive opened is one more person who gets where they are going without having to think about it. By sunrise the route is behind them and the town moves as though nothing happened at all.
