Brogan's Lawn Care

About Brogan's Lawn Care

The Union County courthouse clock keeps time over Uptown Marysville, and Brogan's Lawn Care is usually out working before it strikes eight. Summer here arrives wide open — light comes flat across the county's fields and lands on every yard at once, so a stripe cut true in the morning still reads true at supper. The work is mowing, trimming, edging, and then blowing the walks off so the concrete shows its own color again. There is real satisfaction in that last pass along a driveway, the crisp line where grass agrees to stop. Marysville yards get a lot of sky; the point is making sure the ground underneath keeps up with it.
