About Corey's Stump Grinding LLC
Marion keeps a proper downtown square, and come September the whole of it fills up for the popcorn festival while the maples on the side streets are only beginning to turn. Corey's Stump Grinding LLC works those streets the year around, taking trees down when they are finished, trimming the ones with life left in them, then grinding out every stump so there is nothing left to mow around. City lots make it a game of clearance — a gate to squeeze through, a gas line and a downspout to respect, a flower bed to stay out of. The chips go in the truck, the hole gets filled, and the ground is left flat enough to seed. A yard with the stump gone reads as finished in a way nothing else quite does.
